OUR APPROACH

The work behind
every good result.

Whether it’s a charger in a garage, lighting built into exterior steps or a commercial electrical cabinet, the finished result starts with understanding the existing installation. Equipment ratings, circuit capacity, access and the intended use all shape the right approach.

Browse the photos below to see examples of different electrical projects. Each one brings its own considerations, so a conversation about your property is always more useful than a one-size-fits-all recommendation.

Assess what’s thereExisting equipment, wiring condition and the proposed electrical load come first.
Plan the installationPlacement, cable routes, clearances and the surrounding finishes deserve attention.
Coordinate the workOther trades, access, equipment deliveries and utility involvement can affect the schedule.
Clarify the requirementsOntario electrical notifications and inspections depend on the actual scope.

PLANNING YOUR OWN PROJECT

A few questions worth asking
before electrical work begins.

What information is useful for the first call?

Tell us what you want to install or repair, the property type, your preferred location for equipment and any symptoms or limitations you’ve noticed. Clear photos of existing equipment can help with an initial discussion.

Will every EV charger require a panel upgrade?

No. The existing service capacity, household demand and selected charging equipment should be reviewed before deciding whether an upgrade or another approach is necessary.

Can lighting be added to a finished area?

Often, but the approach depends on access above or behind finished surfaces, safe wiring routes, fixture specifications and the desired lighting effect.

What about electrical notifications and inspections?

The applicable ESA requirements depend on the project. We can discuss the relevant steps and responsibilities when reviewing the proposed scope of work.
